The number of sessions you may require, depends on the nature of the difficulties you are experiencing and your particular needs at the time of seeking help.
- You may need to work through a crisis and find new ways of dealing with your particular situation.
Or you may seek a deeper understanding of the fundamental mechanisms and patterns which affect your life. This may require a lengthier period of therapy .
- Couples, whether heterosexual or same-sex, seek help for a wide variety of issues concerning living together. Some seek help in a crisis - others want to work towards an understanding and a change of the current relationship
Some couples want help to handle their separation as well as possible, for both themselves and their children.
- Parents seek help when they are concerned about their children's behaviour . They may need help to reconnect with each other as parents, as well as with their children. The goal is to understand and to meet the different individual needs of the family at this stage in their life.
